As I stepped off the plane and into this charming city, the humid tropical air enveloped me, promising an adventure unlike any other. First Impressions: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity
Kota Bharu, the capital of the Kelantan state, struck me as a city where tradition seamlessly blends with modernity. The streets buzzed with life, from bustling markets to quiet mosques. Traditional Malay architecture stood proudly alongside contemporary buildings, each telling a part of the city’s story. The standard of living seemed comfortable, with friendly locals going about their day with a sense of contentment.

The Vibrant Markets
One of my first stops was the famous Pasar Siti Khadijah, a vibrant market named after Prophet Muhammad’s wife.
